Magnolia ‘George Henry Kern’ 1L

An ornamental shrub or tree that blooms before the first leaves appear. It blooms in early spring, it differs in size, color and appearance of the flower. The charm of this tree is that it decorates the garden with flowers in spring and with beautiful brown leaves in autumn. Young trees or shrubs are susceptible to frost, but older trees do not have any problems with it. Magnolia does not like cold and strong winds, it needs a sheltered and secluded stand. It does hates pruning, but old leaves and dried shoots can be removed.
